The Rijksmuseum belongs to, and is for, everyone: everyone is welcome! But how do you make that happen? How do you become accessible to people with disabilities? Accessibility begins by realizing that there are barriers that make access difficult or make people feel unwelcome. To remove these obstacles, the Rijksmuseum has had an Accessibility Manager since 2017, who gathers and shares knowledge, and helps to ensure that, little by little, the museum is becoming truly accessible to all.

This publication reflects the experiences gained on the journey towards an ever more accessible museum. Rijksmuseum: Accessibility Without Limits is intended to inspire anyone working to improve accessibility, in museums or other (cultural) institutions.
