The Tulip Book (The Tulip Book) is perhaps the only fully preserved 17th-century tulip catalog. The most expensive tulips are depicted in it at the time of the Dutch "bulb craze", which erupted from 1634 to early 1637. At its height, an unusual tulip lamp cost as much as a palace in the canal.

The Tulip Book was owned by Dr. Nicholas Tulp (known from a Rembrandt painting, Anatomy Lesson by Dr. Tulp) and has been in the possession of his descendant, the Sixth Family, now for generations.

  • This unique mini facsimile is an exact copy of the Tulip Book.
  • The original is on display in the Rijksmuseum until the 23rd of May.
