The potters of Delft were influenced by the Chinese and Japanese porcelain that was highly favoured in the Netherlands during that era. The combination of red, gold, and blue – typical for porcelain from the Japanese port city Imari – is featured in this design. The bird and floral motifs draw inspiration from Chinese examples. By bringing together the Rijksmuseum’s collection and Rituals’ scents and designs, this candleholder adds a touch of elegance to your home.
