Giclée
The term "giclée" is derived from the French verb “gicler”, meaning to spray or mist. A giclée is a newly developed printing technique used in the Netherlands, employing an advanced 12-colour printer that sprays pigment inks onto the canvas, layer by layer. The giclée is then finished with a transparent varnish. With its wide colour spectrum and high resolution, it closely resembles the original.
