This angel is made in East Java, Indonesia, by mainly female craftsmen. The star and golden paper symbolizes luck in Asia. For the production of this candle, only sustainable palm oil is used.

When purchasing this product, you contribute to (industry related) training and a set income, which makes the women more independent. Also, part of the profit is used for young women's education.
