Turn your empty bottle into a vase
Empty bottles can literally be found anywhere in the world; from well-off and developed areas to impoverished city slums. And they can hold their water, making it an ideal vase. The only thing needed to make it look pretty is a beautiful cover. This paper vase cover is hand folded by the women of Tiny Miracles. Their unique triangular paper design ensures easy assembly in under a minute.
Miracles from Mumbai
The Tiny Miracles Foundation is a Netherlands-based charity founded in 2010 by Laurien Meuter and her cousin designer Pepe Heykoop. The foundation focuses its efforts on eliminating poverty in one of the most impoverished city areas of Mumbai, India: the Pardeshi community in slums bordering on the red light district. Their key ambition was to help a small community of 700 people become self-supporting in 10 years time. They are well on their way. By the year 2020 they will be middle class citizens.
