The painting Children of the Sea (1872) by Jozef Israëls has been the source of inspiration for this collection. Josse, from the atelier BIJJOSSE, is a Dutch jewellery designer. Her studio is located in Groningen, where she carefully designed, heated, studded and polished this collection. Shaped and filed. Washed and finished. Real handmade craft is what makes every piece of jewellery unique!

A shell has been a symbol of life & love for centuries. The collection consists of two types of shells. A beautiful symbolic gift for yourself or someone you love. The shells are made of silver or 18-carat gold-plated silver.
